white out domestic violence cause is near and dear to our hearts as wings and a safe place are two long standing agency partners. during the month of june, donated tickets will be granted to kids and families affected by domestic violence. please help us create a means for escape through donating the event tickets you can’t use http://bit.ly/htSjCv

over the years, kidsupfront has provided an escape for affected kids and families  by sending them to various arts, sports and entertainment events. two stories come to mind about the power of a donated ticket… a mom who thanked us for sending her and her kids to a rush game where she could “scream at the top of her lungs” each of her children wrote us a letter too and the youngest mentioned sleeping through the whole game and maybe they’d stay awake next time another, supermom shared how years of living in an abuseful environment had caused severe anxiety in two of her children. she was able to seek help to leave and with the help of roots & wings, another kidsupfront partner, is getting life back on track. it was heartwarming to hear that kidsupfront tickets have helped to bring joy to their world.
